I had a very pleasant experience with Jordan Goad today. I have had some rather negative experiences previously in the world of psychiatry and Jordan was empathetic and kind. She was very thorough in her intake although never prying, and made sure I knew she was on my team and would never push me into a treatment I wasn't comfortable with. She was very sweet, which is something I can say I've never experienced with a psychiatrist before. I feel as though she took what I was saying seriously and for once, I did not leave a session feeling bad about myself or what I have gone through. Thank you, Jordan. We need more people in mental healthcare like you 💜

Horrible front staff that is absolutely rude. I “wasn’t a good fit” for their practice. No one told me until I tried to schedule an appointment. Dr. Bora never met me. She let an online intake file tell me I “wasn’t a good fit” for her practice. That is disrespectful to judge patients. All of this was after Nurse Sung agreed to see me.

They use their “new patient paperwork” as a way of discriminating against patients before even meeting them. When I pressed about why I wasn’t accepted, they said “I wasn’t a good fit” for the practice. I asked why not. After 10 minutes and speaking to the office manager I got an answer. You take a medication she doesn’t feel comfortable prescribing. I asked “and she just sends patients away without meeting them to discuss possible medication changes.” The office manager said “yes” without hesitation.

This is not a patient friendly practice. Not sure what the practice wants to achieve since they turn away patients without ever interacting with them.

This was my first visit here with Jordan for my teenage daughter Caleigh. The office is super clean, warm, and inviting atmosphere. She took her time with Caleigh and made her feel at ease. I highly recommend this office. It is so hard to find a good psychiatrist and one that treats teens.This by far meet all of my expectations. Can't leave out the receptionist who was so kind. They sure do make you feel like you matter. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you back for Caleighs's follow up!

Had some issues with this place that turned me to seeking help elsewhere. I was glad they took my insurance, BCBS. Inconsistent appointment reminders and every missed appointment is $50. Difficult to make an appointment, I was told several times an appointment would be made for me only for me to never receive a reminder and then get a missed appointment fee. Dr. Bora who owns the practice does not have the best bedside manner; Had issues with an eating disorder and even when getting blind weights (can't see the number) she would tell me how much my weight had changed. She accused me of losing weight just by looking at me, not checking my current weight, when I had been maintaining my weight for over 6 months. Judgemental of clients who deal with substance abuse issues and poor medication compliance. When I was trying to get a letter for work it had to be re-written 3-4 times because they would get my information wrong every time.. gave me a sense they didn't actually care about what they were doing. Didn't want to give less stars because I know they now have several doctors at the practice and I'm unsure of the quality of their care. I personally had a number of poor experiences here over the course of time I was a patient that were unhelpful or damaging. I hope my honest review is helpful to someone out there.

I have nothing negative to say other than I screwed up once and Dr.Bora kicked me to the curd. I have many flaws but I did not deserve to be kicked out. Especially when I was 100% honest. THANKS.
