I was highly disappointed with the service provided By Dr Henry. I had high hopes of our work together. Dr. Henry was over-extended with her availability. She works a full time 9-5 and does therapy on the side. The disappointment is that she had no trouble completing an intake session and charging me $175, just to take down my information and tell me she was uncertain of where she could find a space to provide me sessions on a consistent bases. This should have been discussed first.

Yes, she claimed she would try to rearrange clients for me to have a 2nd session that next week, however, made it very clear that there was no guarantee of being able to do so moving forward. And then at the end of our first session she encouraged me to give it a couple of weeks to see what happens with her schedule. What? Sis. I reached out to have therapy now. I had high hopes for supporting such a well decorated, black female, clinician (as far as the experience of her clinical work), however this only ended up in being a totally let down. And out of $175 for my time wasted.

And even after realizing her scheduling was over booked and that we would not be able to have consistent session, my request to not to be charged for the intake was refused and immediately taken from my account. Yes, you gather information and completed your intake questionnaire, but no therapy was or will be provided. Time and money wasted. Think twice before patronizing this business.

Dr Henry is amazing. She is personable and here to help build others in her community to be the best version of themselves. It has been a pleasure meeting her and I look forward to working with her in the future.
