Disappointed. I received multiple calls to confirm an initial appointment and to collect information I had already provided.

I understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur, but it is quite disappointing to have my first therapy session canceled just hours beforehand.

I do not feel comfortable moving forward with scheduling another appointment.

Ive decided to look for alternatives.

I hope you can take steps to improve your scheduling process, especially for individuals seeking help for the first time.

This is a significant step for them, and a smooth process can make all the difference.

I am so grateful for Dr. DeJean and the staff at this office - they are incredible! Every appointment feels like progress, I never find myself repeating things we went over in past appointments and we always take off right where we last spoke. I can honestly say Dr. DeJean genuinely cares about the health and well-being of her patients and I always feel comfortable sharing everything and anything with her. She is very mindful during our appointments and asks great questions. Thankful we met during Covid when I needed a Dr. who could accommodate virtual appointments and I haven’t left since! Thank you for making time for me even when we don’t have a scheduled appt if I have a question or two! You have helped me in more ways than you know!

I worked with this practice back in 2020 and I’m still having repercussions of the medication I was prescribed. Valdesha DeJean, Who I later found out was not well-versed in ADHD in adults prescribed me with an antidepressant, which has had long lasting negative side effects even after being off of it for over a year. I was not initially told that ADHD was not something she worked with much, yet she was in charge of prescribing me and hearing my case. She doubted everything I told her and accuse me of trying to get stimulants, when all I wanted was relief for the issues I’ve been having my entire life. I have called the practice before to let them know about my dissatisfaction and they assured me that she was no longer taking cases that dealt with ADHD, but that leaves me with nothing. Maybe the other doctors are better, but I think it’s irresponsible to give someone who may have ADHD a doctor who does not know enough about ADHD to say whether the patient has it or not.

I’ve been seeing Mrs. Candace for a year now. After a bad experience with a previous therapist I was very hesitant and nervous. Mrs. Candace helped me so much mentally. She’s apart of my life now. I don’t think I could have began fully healing without her. She doesn’t know how much she contributes to my mental health.

I’ve seen multiple different people within this practice (I’ve had to switch due to insurance) and I’ve never had a bad experience. I recommend Georgia psych to anyone seeking mental healthcare. I’ll be a patient here for a long time!! From office staff to therapists everyone is so kind and compassionate. Wish I could give more than 5 stars
