A couple months ago, I felt really hopeless about the state of my mental health. Whether it was due to the inability to find a psychiatrist covered by my insurance or to find a medicine that worked for me, I felt like I kept trying and trying to no avail. I feel so lucky that I found Aura Psychiatry and that I met the amazing nurse practitioner I see here. My nurse practicioner, Juliet, is very approachable and has made herself available and easy to contact so I feel like I always have someone in my corner. She's always helpful regarding any questions I have and she's made it clear that she's on my side and that she's genuinely invested in helping me feel better, not solely out of obligation, but because she truly cares about my well-being. She is knowledgeable, understanding and has continually opened my eyes to treatments that I frankly never knew existed despite having worked with psychiatrist after psychiatrist for the past decade. Although I have only worked with her for a couple months, I can gratefully say that I no longer feel that "hopelessness" that I had felt for so long. I couldn't recommend them more!

Dr. Zagone is not only a skilled physician but she is also an amazing person, a wonderful listener, and she's never too busy or unavailable when I need to speak to her. She truly cares about her patients and she always goes above and beyond to help make sure her patients are cared for and their needs are being met . I feel fortunate to have her as my doctor and I'm so happy I found her. If you're in need of something different, if you're tired of waiting rooms, if you're sick of sleazy Doctors who only want to take your money but can't even call you back in the same week then make a change. Jacquelyn Zagone is the type of therapist everyone needs. Her work far exceeds just psychology; she is a good listener, nonjudgmental, respectful, reliable, and trustworthy—an overall good person who cares about others. She is dedicated to her clients and committed to your overall well-being.

To date, I’ve been with Jacky for a year and a half and am happy to report I’m in a much better place. She took the time to understand my challenges and created a personalized approach to address them. I appreciate her ability to strike a balance between compassion and guidance, helping me to accomplish my goals.
