He is very dedicated hardworking and helped me with my complex case.. he made it happen for me!! My cases were approved and added value because of his services provided. Please research all your resources before coming to this guy. Me and my husband were in need of a psychological evaluation for immigration purposes. My husband had called everyone on the list he received from his lawyer and decided we would go to this doctor since he was giving us the most affordable price of $1000 but he told us we would have to 50 days to receive the final report and also we could only pay in cash or money order. When my husband told me that I asked him to call the doctor back because 50 days was far too long of a wait and I have learned my lesson on never to pay someone in cash for such services. Unfortunately my husband never called to cancel. I then exhausted all my resources to find a reliable and affordable physcologist so I went to google and called this guy, not knowing or realizing this is whom my husband had first step up an appointment with. The doctor asked me a couple questions and we both came to the conclusion that my husband had spoken to him before, we ended up making a 2nd appointment and the price we had agreed on was $1000 for a 30 day wait on the report. Everything seemed well and he even sent us an appointment confirmation through text. A couple hours later our little family was enjoying dinner and we picked up a phone call from Dr.Silva. He told my husband that he had changed his mind. That now he was going to charge us $1400 for the evaluation since we had cancelled on him before. My husband told him he was sorry for the prior uncommunicated cancellation and that we would look for the services else where because anyways he was going to take too long for the report. My husband and I were both devastated after this phone call. This process has been very long for us and this is one of the last steps we needed. We didn't even finish dinner because of this. 1 star for absolute unprofessionalism. I work in the medical field and know my patients are who make my living. I have no respect for this doctor after today. You don't mess or take advantage of people in these situations. Thank God, God is good. I received a phone call an hour later from a pyscologist whom I had left a voicemail for earlier. Right off the bat she was 100% more professional then Dr.Silva. Her prices are affordable and there is only a 10 day wait for the report. If you are in need of these services please look her office up: Carol Santana McCleary, PsyD in lakeridge, Va. I would have never made my review but I feel that people in my situations should have this knowledge before they go forth with a decision. Thanks for reading.
