Freeway Psychiatry is 1 of The Best places I've been too. The people are very nice at the front desk but The Best part of going to Freeway is seeing Dr. Graham. He's a very Good listener and he makes me feel SAFE when I speak to him. Before I met Dr. Graham, My Depression and Anxiety was on 10+ and I was on a road to breaking down, but after speaking with Dr. Graham for 2 plus years, I've done a 180 and I'm on a POSITIVE PATH now. I look forward to ALWAYS seeing Dr. Graham. I highly recommend Freeway Physc. I've had Nothing but Positive experiences with The entire staff, from The front desk to Dr. Graham.

I made an appointment with Dr. Luis on Saturday at 9:20 am and because I arrived at 9:28 am Luis, who is supposedly a psychiatrist, did not want to see me. I told him to discount the 8 minutes of the consultation and he did not care about my time or the 30 dollars that the Uber cost me. I have very good private insurance and he could charge him for the hour of the consultation. I definitely do not recommend that psychiatrist because he is not at all professional and he doesn’t care about people. Before going to this place make sure that the psychiatrist has a license and is understanding.

The actual providers are pretty good, but the people answering phones are idiots that lie to your face and waste weeks and weeks of your time. They tell you they submitted something and then a week later try to gaslight you that they never said they did it. You'll leave a message for your doctor and never get a reply about it, things just disappear into a black hole. I tell a pharmacy about a problem and they tell me they're contacting my doctor but my doctor never does anything unless I call about it. Someone is dropping the ball

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Shandel. I tried to explain my symptoms, but she dismissed everything I said and based her treatment plan on a misdiagnosis. It felt like she wasn’t listening at all. When I expressed my concerns, she seemed offended and accused me of trying to teach her a lesson. Ultimately, she called an ambulance on me, claiming it was necessary, but the EMT confirmed that the only reason for the hospital trip was her frustration.

After this experience, I switched to Dr. Graham, who took the time to do a thorough evaluation and confirmed my suspicions about the misdiagnosis. Thanks to him, I finally found the correct treatment and am getting the help I need. My hope in sharing this is to warn others to stay away from Dr. Shandel; she really doesn’t care about a person’s history, only their chart

i had some bad experience of dealing with mental health offices but freeway just made me forget about it all and showed me that places with professionals and that are organized still exist. they explained me well everything from the payments with my insurance, to the appointment making and medications refills. i didn’t have to wait hours from my actual appointment time, doctor and therapist know what they are doing. i can always reach out them over the phone and, again, i won’t be waiting forever on the line. i recommend this place for peace of mind, they are definitely not adding to your anxiety.

Before I begin, let me start by saying, Sandel is GREAT! That said, per Karla, I have a $90 bill for copays. This is the first I’m hearing of it and was miffed that it was not brought to my attention sooner (like when I scheduled appointments, just a COMMON SENSE suggestion), emailed to me or billed to my home. I work two jobs and go to school part time. SO, I’m sorry, I don’t keep track of the biller’s job. I have no tolerance for passive aggressive nonsense. I find it VERY off putting. So, I asked Karla, what now? To which she replied, that I could NOT see my provider for my scheduled appointment unless I pay the balance. I politely told Karla to have a nice day and ended the call. The moral of the story? At the end of the day, DO NOT ALLOW INCOMPETENCE AND GREED DICTATE YOUR HEALTHCARE or YOUR MONEY! Karla showed me who Freeway is. Shortly thereafter, I found a new practice, that takes my insurance and offers EXCLUSIVELY telemed appointments. I’ll be meeting with them next week.

I highly recommend Freeway Psychiatrist for their excellent TMS sessions and overall outstanding service. The staff is professional and dedicated to patient care. The TMS treatments with Hector have made a significant positive impact on my well-being, helping me manage my symptoms effectively. Hector explains the process thoroughly, answers all my questions, and makes sure I am comfortable during each session. His attention to detail and genuine care for my progress makes all the difference. He definitely knows what he is doing!!! He is just amazing!
