I am not new to therapy, Dr Zand is my third therapist over the years and she is truly great. I love that I do not feel judged, looked down at or feeling humiliated for the countless mistakes one makes in this lifetime.
Hasti is understanding & encouraging. I actually look forward to our appointments, rare for me. She also pushes me to goal set, which I need… in measured increments that she gets.
She is good at ‘getting’ me and I love that!

I was pleasantly surprised to hear that I was getting a new doctor. I was a patient of the previous psychiatrist for years and I felt he was quick to add more medication without much thought. Dr. Gomez really listened to me and looked into my rather complicated medical history. He came up with a good medication plan moving forward. I look forward to working with Dr. Gomez in the future. I am pleased with the decision Harbor Psychiatry made and feel the change in staff was a good move.

Dr. Deguzman truly listens and works with me during our visits, and responds quickly when I've had issues with my pharmacy in getting my medication. Harbor is also fast and convenient, and the office is highly efficient and helpful. It's the best psychiatric treatment I've gotten in California to date.

Dr Greenspan asks good questions in an effort to gain understanding of his patients feelings, condition and concerns. He is also a good listener. He is careful and conservative when it comes to prescribing or altering medications. He creates a safe space to address sensitive issues and offers informed suggestions that are focused on finding solutions to his patients issues and concerns. As a close family member of one of his patients, I can honestly say that Dr Greenspan is professional, knowledgable and caring. We always come away from appts feeling heard and understood, with a plan in place to address the immediate challenges.
