Dr. Shallcross is amazing. He has completed two assessments for me, and each time he has been throughout, communicative, and helpful. He makes suggestions when needed regarding treatment and interventions to implement at home, and if he is aware of you doing something contrary to what may help your diagnosis he mentions that as well. Additionally, Ms. Jackie is an amazing receptionist and very personable. Also, psychological evaluations aren't lab work. You have to allow a reasonable amount of time for them. As long as you are willing to be patient ,and wait 2-4 weeks, to receive your results you won't be disappointed.

Dr. Shallcross did my son’s evaluation for ADHD and the entire experience was amazing. He took the time to explain my son’s diagnoses, patiently answered all of our questions and provided resources for us to learn more about my son’s condition. He was so kind and patient with my son during the evaluation and we are so grateful for that. He was recommended to us by several people and I strongly recommend him to anyone looking for an evaluation. He truly is an amazing doctor.

Dr. Shallcross was spot on with my diagnosis. He was able to keep me informed of any irregularities or advancements even during the testing process. I was quite surprised when I got my results from testing. He was able to explain things to me in a simple and understandable way. I learned a lot about myself throughout this process. True things. Things that needed improvement and attention. I am very glad that I had this experience. I would recommend Dr. Shallcross if you are interested in learning realistic things about yourself that needs improvement and attention.

Would not recommend! Dr. John P. Shallcross was very rude and unprofessional. I only called once after my testing (a week later) just to check the status because my deadline for school was approaching, and he told me "You don't have to keep calling me. I'll send off your paperwork when I get around to it. You aren't my only client" and then hung up the phone. I do not recommend using his services. Take the time to look around and find a health care professional that treats his or her patients with respect and dignity.

I had a great experience with Dr. Shallcross for my evaluation. He was great to work with, and had good recommendations on RN's to reach out to to pursue proper treatment. I also really appreciated that he's doing virtual visits.
