I have been on a waitlist to get my teenage son Neuro testing for 3 months. I've communicated with the staff 10 times via email since then, and was told the wait would be 2-6 months, but probably 4 months. Today, they informed me that they do not do Neuro testing on anyone under 16. They knew from the initial call that my son is 14, and even checked my insurance coverage. They wasted 3 months of our time when we could have been trying to find another provider. Completely unprofessional.

Most unprofessional and money hungry company I've ever seen. I only went to them because they specifically assured me they were covered by my insurance. When I was finally given an appointment for an intake it was scheduled on the 4th of July. I thought that was strange but went anyways and the doors were locked (obviously it's a major holiday). So when I finally got a call back the guy acted irritated and insulting saying "why would I schedule an appointment on a holiday?". I have the emails to prove it by the way. So we schedule a zoom meeting for the next day. Nearly the entire hour is spent with him telling me about his career and how he hasn't even finished school yet. Then we make a follow up appointment which I never received an email or zoom invitation about. Never hear from them again until they call today and tell me "oh btw your insurance doesn't actually cover this so here is a bill for twice the amount." This people will lie and say anything to get your money and they don't care if they help you at all. Avoid them at all costs!

I got what I wanted out of my experience through the testing and was treated kindly by staff however I will mention the frustration I had. I reached out and was helped a hint before the communication going dead, when I reached out again asking for an update the person who was in-charge of my things said she was leaving and I had to wait for someone else to help me. They told me I had to redo all the paperwork I filled out, which was very daunting because I barely was able to have access to do it the first time. That’s fine but mildly frustrating I was forgotten for a two month span. Next was insurance issues, I don’t know what happened to say I had another insurance but I repeatedly said I only have one and whatever email that stated I had more that only got delivered to LPS and I was supposed to get it but never did. Nearly nine months later I get a bill for 800 after receiving almost monthly bills of 0.00 turns out LPS still believed I had another insurance even after I contacted my insurance to get it straightened out. I keep getting bills saying I owe them or i owe them nothing going back and forth almost a year later, and frankly it’s getting extremely annoying. I already paided them 80 bucks (my copay twice) and frankly after this I’m not very happy.

"If you are in need of real help, please don't come to this practice. First off, scheduling with the secretary is very difficult. He/she often does not know Dr. Zelfsdorf's schedule and has to call you back when she gets it. She is very unprofessional in attire and spends more time smoking than anything else. Second, expect to wait more than 15 minutes past your appt time (at least) because the Doc has run over with another patient. When you sit in the waiting area you can hear everything said in session. He saw a member of my family for months and all she was left with was a disappointing experience when all she was trying to do was get some help."
