I can not, in good conscience, recommend NOVA PSY. Their unprofessionalism as of late has turned me off greatly, and I feel as if I have no choice but to post about it publicly.

I've written emails to them three separate times now, spread out over a 2 week time span, with no response. I can understand taking a few days to reply to an email. We've all been overloaded, especially as we enter the holidays — but a two-week response time (which they've failed to meet, as they still have not written back) to an email asking for a refill on an existing prescription is simply unacceptable. It's inexcusable.

There have been other issues with them too, but I do not find them appropriate to discuss in this setting.

EDIT: Upon reviewing other recent reviews, I now see that this is not an isolated incident. It seems that NoVA PSY has a well-documented history of ignoring patients and their concerns... I wish I would've done more research before engaging with this shady organization.

Shame on you.

EDIT 2 / UPDATE: I was finally able to get a hold of the front desk via phone. When I inquired about my unanswered emails, I was told that she "doesn't check the front desk email," and that it was someone else's responsibility. No apology or anything. I then paid out my remaining balance, cancelled my future appointments, and began my records transfer... A few days later, I noticed that they'd charged my credit card twice for my prior balance.

Nova PSY couldn't have left a worse taste in my mouth.

I have been seeing Dr Bajpai in telehealth appointments for about a year. I like him. He is respectful and answers questions so I can understand whatever we may be talking about. He is direct, which I appreciate. He seems interested in my health as a whole.

I had a great relationship with Dianna Liga for a year and I was prescribed medication for the first time. Then this organization just dropped me...no new provider, no communication when she left. I asked for a refill and no response. I'm also being charged some "no show" appointment but I was never told about an appointment. I have no emails, no text, and there is nothing in my patient portal. I cannot believe this organization prescribed me heavy medication and then just decided to ignore me. Do not go here and I'm currently trying to balance getting myself off meds or looking for another provider but at this point I completely regret trying this to help me. I was also against doing this in the first place and sure enough this organization proved me right.

Dr. Bajpai is very knowledgeable and competent. He has never rushed through an appointment, takes time to ask questions about my life, remembers what I tell him, and has a wonderful bedside manner.

I cannot say enough kind things about Alice. She is absolutely the BEST. She took time to listen and genuinely cared about my long term care. Everyone at this practice is INCREDIBLE and absolutely professional and amazing. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality psychiatric care! Dr. Seagull is amazing too! Truly caring and attentive.
