It’s not the place or the billing I have a problem with. I was a patient of Sarah Novak and after a few cancellations, we began talking over email a lot. She then told me that she couldn’t handle me and would “give me a referral!” Like she was thrilled with the idea. After explaining what I would like in a new therapist she never responded. If you have abandonment issues this certainly will make matters worse. She’s young and not getting her career off on the right foot. Unprofessional. The final straw was when I was complaining about my job and she told me I should quit and I explained that maybe that was a lazy approach.

We had nothing but a great experience with Dr. Allen. Did have to leave a voicemail for an appt and was promptly called back and got in within 4 days. Dr. Allen was honest and upfront. I greatly appreciated not getting the run around, and received a great referral.

If I could leave one star I would. PLEASE do NOT go here! It is a complete rip off! We took my step son here because his behavior had become concerning after his birth moms custody rights had been revoked due to abuse that was inflicted on him both physically and mentally. My fiancé is a veteran and we were looking for someone who takes Tricare insurance. On their website they highly advertised assistance with military families, custody hearings and abuse. So, we thought this is perfect. However, it was all a lie! They DO NOT specialize in anything. When my husband showed up to his appointment, intake paperwork was NEVER given to him which is needed to better understand why we are seeking counseling and to understand what our son has been through. The counselor literally did not ask my husband or son ANY questions at all. I wish I was being a little sarcastic, but I’m not. Dr. Allen played uno with my son but didn’t even try to get to know him during his visit! After the session was over, she didn’t speak to my husband on regards to her findings, and her exact words were “okay your times up,” and walked them to the door. She didn’t even schedule a follow up appointment. After insurance we also received a bill of $180! We have been trying to fight it ever since due to the fact that we never received any services from her. We have now found someone amazing at Regional Mental Health and her visits are $30 after insurance. This company and the dr solely want your money and not to help.

I will Give them a one star for poor billing an wrong billing department. I also will say they send to collections fast an won't reslove to work with you. I recommend Regional or Swans center over this place. They have 24hrs to settle or I'm suing an reporting billing procedures. This review is not a JOKE

His secretary is not going to call you back and you aren't supposed to call his direct number to make appointments. After trying to make appointments and not getting a call back for months after leaving voice mail after voice mail. When I finally called his direct number instead of his secretary he tells me he dropped my case and took on others bc I hadn't been in. And his caseload is now full. Also he told me this over text instead of calling me back.

I was told by my family doctor that I would get a phone call from doctor Allen's office so that I can be seen. This was 2 weeks ago. I also called up there 2 times. I told them that I was wondering if they got my paperwork they said yes and they would call me back tomorrow. That was 4 days ago. Horrible Service

I absolutely love this office. Dr.Allen is great with my teenage son and his other staff are very professional and wonderful therapists. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for competent, client focused professionals.
