If you want to better your mental health, do not go here. Psychiatrists are willing to send very judgmental and degrading comments to their front desk to relay to you, without ever having met you. You will end up worse for wear from the emotional abuse they inflict on patients for missing an appointment by 5 minutes.

If you respect your time, do not go here. You will book an appointment at 2 pm, then change it to 1:40 pm without ever telling you, then waste your afternoon for missing your appointment, because they will change the times of your appt without telling you until after the fact.

No one deserves to be judged psychologically in a condescending way by people who never even met you, just because you missed an appointment. You never know what a stranger is going through, when you walk down the street you are 100% going to see at least some active victims of physical abuse, sexual assault, psychological abuse, etc. And that's one of many reasons why we should all treat others with respect unless someone gives us a reason not to.

You would think psychiatrists would know this more than anyone else, but unfortunately not. They will treat you like a cold distant prisoner at a moments notice, they will blame you for their poor communications. Don't take time our of your busy day just to be mistreated and worse for wear for dealing with these people. I experienced bad enough mistreatment, condescension and insult from these people when I was nothing but kind in my every word to them. Please, save yourself the headache, you will get nothing out them at best, so you only stand to lose by going here.

Cheryl Rosen is a terrible psychiatrist. She doesn't listen and if you miss 1 appointment in 10 years she will not see you again and blackball you. I really have very bad thingstosay aboutthis thing. If you go here stay away from her.

If you’re scheduled at 2pm you won’t be seen until 3:15pm, I guarantee it. This place is for Lynn residents who have no resources or any other option. I’m warning you now don’t make an appointment here.

The ladies behind the counter are Lynn natives who have never left the city and it shows. The wait and service here is a joke and the only reason this place stays in business is because of mass health and those on Medicaid.

Dr. Sheryl Rosen intentionally double/ triple books appointments to make as much money as possible while the patient is dealt with the 1 hour plus wait time, and as soon as you enter her office she’ll give you an excuse that either her computers are slow or patients show up late.

I’m currently 20 years old and started seeing this place for psychiatric care during the pandemic. I was 18 at the time and it was the only place that had spots open at the time as there was a mental health crisis going on. Everything was fine and my care consisted of monthly checkups over the phone with my psychiatrist here and then all of a sudden the office had me re-apply as a patient here because it had reached the year marker since the last time I had a zoom appointment with my psychiatrist. Me and my mother were never told of this policy and my psychiatrist never suggested an issue with checkups strictly over the phone with no face-to-face contact. I immediately filled out the entire “new patient” packet and sent that back to them MONTHS AGOO. since then me and my mother have had to call the office constantly to check and see how the reenlistment process is going and they never pick up the phone. days go by before they even respond back to a voicemail and i have missed their call a few times due to being in class. It starts a cycle where I have to call again and leave a message and wait for them to call me back. It’s a horrible system. I haven’t gotten my prescription from my psychiatrist in months and had to revert to a pediatrician to supply it short term. The psychiatrics of Lynn have apparently seen no issue with me not staying on my medication even though I have seen dangerous and severe symptoms of depression from going off the medication I take. this place needs to seriously work on their organizational skills as well as communication skills as the lady at the front desk is always rude on the phone when you voice an issue to her.

I have been going to dr riemer for many years! I also before him had seen other doctors! I’ve always had to wait a very long time to see them! If it wasn’t for dr riemer I wouldn’t be on this planet anymore! He truly cares about his patients! I have waited also to see him! But it’s no different from other doctors I used to see! Just fyi sometimes you have to wait to get what you need! Patience is a virtue! At least I know I’m getting the right care from them!

This medical office charges over $400 for an evaluation fee when you have Mass Health and I've since learned that the average evaluation fee in this area is $200 - $250. When I questioned the fee they said "Don't worry about it, you don't pay it, Mass Health does." HELLO!!! Clearly, they are dishonest and greedy. Next, I specifically requested to see a psychiatrist yet I was scheduled to see Hillary Du, PA-C - young and inexperienced! Not even a PFNP! She diagnosed me based only a questionnaire. There was no formal interview nor a time period to get to understand me and my mental health issues. She attempted to diagnose me with something that no other health care or mental health care practitioner ever has and after seeking out a competent health care provider boy was I right and so happy I am intelligent enough to see and understand how incompetent Hillary Du is. The office staff is also rude and independable. You have to chase after them to do their job. Also, Covid is over - why are they not back in the office having face to face visits? They aren't a mental health tech company and as mental health care providers they should know the benefits of in person visits. But they are too lazy. Do yourself a favor and seek mental health care elsewhere!

I've been coming to PAL since my previous prescriber retired several years ago. They are always responsive to my needs and very supportive. Covid severely impacted the mental health of two of my teenaged children. One of them has started treatment with Sherryl and I see much improvement. I am in the process of getting the other one ready for intake. I trust PAL with not only my own mental health but also believe in them for my children.

Completely negligent and it’s easier to find the 8th wonder of the world rather than getting in touch with the front desk.

Also I was put on over 7 medications with this agency and less than a 5 minute appointment monthly because they are “telehealth.” They over prescribe medications, don’t keep up with phone calls or refills, and don’t take proper care of clients.
