Edit to add: Over a month and I haven’t heard a THING. No referral or even email about a portal message. Massive yikes when dealing with mental health.

I loved my psychiatrist, but she became over booked and impossible to see, so I was being passed on to a nurse practitioner, even though I had been a patient for over a year. My provider was sick and so busy I couldn’t see her for over a month when she rescheduled on me. I was in the middle of a medication change, and have had the hardest year of my life, and they didn’t seem to care. My medication also has severe serotonin withdrawal and I can’t get refills unless I have a medication check up. Also it has been over a week since my last appointment where I asked for a referral to a new office. Radio silence. My medication has severe serotonin withdrawal, and the NP told me it might be awhile before I can see someone new, making me feel trapped with the lack of communication on their end. I however have already found my own new office with an appointment this Saturday with no thanks to this place.

I highly recommend working with Dr. V. She has a kind, open, and practical approach that felt tailored to me and my way of thinking. Her goal was to get me functional and able to manage on my own.

Some things I really appreciate about her technique:
- She never told me what to do but made me think through and question belief systems until I could see how I was holding myself back.
- Dr. V helped me discover, using my own perspectives and experiences: who I am, what my preferences are, what I want out of life, and how to get there. I never felt judged for my beliefs.
- I felt especially comfortable that I didn’t have to explain cultural norms because Dr. V had a clear awareness of cultural issues and was non-judgmental towards them.

Some outcomes experienced:
- I understood and accepted and learned to work with my past negative experiences.
- I started with happy, sad, and angry as my only emotions to learning about value of being able to label a variety of emotions.
- I learned how to regulate my body to avoid stress, know when I’m tired, manage anxiety, and deal with difficult personal interactions.

I have been following with Dr. Veeramasuneni since before the pandemic. As a health care worker, her support and assistance has been invaluable in navigating these extremely difficult and trying times. Her cultural awareness has made this therapy experience superior to prior ones as she was able to easily understand the cultural context that has affected/shaped me. I truly appreciate the insight working with her has provided me.

* Truly life changing...
- After numerous traumatic events in my life, I found myself in a lost and deeply hopeless place. Dr. V has been extremely supportive, caring, patient, and attentive during the four years that we have worked together.
- She always goes above and beyond and has the expertise to guide you though the most difficult emotions, thoughts, and feelings. I tried several therapists but found it rather difficult to connect and truly open up to share my innermost thoughts, fears, and experiences. I honestly don’t know which direction my life would’ve gone in without the continued support and guidance of Dr. V.
- I highly recommend her services if you’re looking for a thoughtful, approachable, encouraging, and well-educated therapist that genuinely cares about her clients and their wellbeing. She has helped me work through some of life’s most challenging trials & tribulations and I will be forever grateful.

This place is great if you can afford $1,000 for mandatory therapy through them. All I needed was a new psychiatrist because I'm new to the area and had to beg just to be seen. I already have a therapist but was refused care because I only needed psychiatric care--- Continuation of care from my Denver psychiatrist. I spent 3 hours reliving sexual assault and my entire life just to be given no help and no advice on where to go next. -- Again, they seem nice if you can afford $1,000 a month.
