I've noticed a man frequently at Tuina Master, always staring while I'm getting a massage. One time, he sat on the edge of the cot next to me, watching intently. Despite being close enough to touch, the employee massaging me said nothing. The room wasn't crowded, so he had no reason to sit there.
I sat up, made eye contact with this man, and looked at my masseuse, hoping he'd intervene, but he only smiled. I lay back down, but I couldn't relax with the man's legs dangling over the cot, still staring. He was a white, mid 30's guy with perfect English who didn't appear to be an employee, nor did he appear to be in training. Frustrated, I confronted him, asking why he was staring and told him to move. He responded, "I'm not touching you," but eventually moved across the room, still facing me, watching.
This wasn't an isolated incident. Recently, this same man was again standing nearby, staring, making me incredibly uncomfortable. Despite the lack of other customers, he was just there, watching. It's disturbing that the establishment permits this behavior. Is he paying them to watch? Something's definitely off! The only reason I return is because I'm in pain, and they do a decent job. However, this unsettling experience makes me question whether it's worth it.

Our massage was great, but the guy at the counter gave a very rude reaction to the tip. I agree with the other review, this gave a very uncomfortable atmosphere. I've been here twice but because of what happened, I don't think I will ever be back here again.

Their sanitizing is ALARMING!!! All they do is switch out face covers, that is disgusting!!! Covid is still around and here they are being nasty. After I made the lady clean she didn't listen to me! I asked 30 minutes on my shoulder and got everything but that! It's acceptable if someone just wants to relax but people are paying their money for you to address their concerns and areas of pain!!!!! Stay clear it is not even worth it! This is not professional or clean!!!!!

Just wanted to say thank you again! I was in there yesterday with back pain and though it may have looked like I was in more pain when I left, it actually calmed down and got much better! I love you guys!

Regrettably, my visit to Tuina Master fell short of expectations. While I had hoped for a relaxing massage experience, I was met with disappointment. Not only was the massage itself subpar, but I also encountered unwelcome pressure regarding tipping. The masseur displayed an attitude when I didn't tip as much as he expected, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere.

As a customer seeking relaxation and rejuvenation, such behavior was disheartening and detracted from the overall experience. I hope the establishment addresses these issues to ensure a more positive encounter for future patrons.

Visiting Roanoke and I had a tension headache so I was looking for a massage place that accepts walk-ins. This place is in the mall, first level, next to Barnes & Noble. I usually get a massage at least once or twice a month, but this was AMAZING like nothing I ever had. First of all, you are fully dressed and next to other people (not a problem for me). The environment was pretty quiet for being located in the mall. Soothing Asian music in the background. He incorporated acupressure into the massage with deep pressure which I love. Wish I lived closer as I would probably be here every week. The price was good as well…$60 for 60 minutes. If you are looking for a bougie spa with aromatherapy, etc, this is not the place. However if you need a last minute amazing massage to relieve your stress and tension, then this place is it!

The best thing ever. I think better than regular massage. They let you keep your clothes on, you're not all greased up, no appointments good prices. I love the way they do the massage the most. It's gentle and firm at the same time, and good for lymph drainage too.
